Event Description

14th-17th August
Green Man Festival, Glanusk Park, Crickhowell

Directed by Gerald Tyler

If you go down to the woods today... you're in for one of our Summer Surprises.

National Theatre Wales are bringing their signature site-specific performance and storytelling alchemy to this year’s Green Man Festival with a specially created show taking inspiration from the pagan energy that flows through the site - seriously. Look out for signs of real-life magic, late night woodland vigils and fairytale sized romance. Oh, and three weird looking guys in a freezer truck.

The story will unfold over the four days of the festival as the action weaves throughout the stunning and powerful location. Culminating in very special Sunday afternoon ceremony, Green Man // Red Woman promises to be touching, funny and just a little bit creepy.
