Event Description

8pm | £8 - £12 (£9 - £13*)  | Age Guidance: 12+

Small World Theatre present One Way Street, a live theatre performance and tribute to film noir inhabited by puppets and film projections.

Sam Stone is a San Francisco private investigator. One day a woman walks into his office with what seems to be an open and shut case, but this one's going to get him into a whole lot of trouble. What's more, he can't even find a decent cup of coffee!

This startling monochrome experience will transform San Francisco from soft focus to chiaroscuro sharpness and even take the hero on a journey to Swansea, as we follow Stone on a tour of the city's high and low spots. Just how will the bankers fare in this post-depression tale of greed, lust and intrigue?

Shot in glorious black and white, and written and produced by Small World Theatre, this is a show for adults where cunningly skilled puppetry and animation will astonish.
