Event Description

A benefit gig evening for Bradley Manning (as in NTW18 - 'Radicalisation of &c')

In this support evening for the campaign we’ll prove that laughing together can be critical to the serious stuff, and then gel with the lyrics of Jack Omer whose acoustic set will round the evening off.

Featuring top Welsh comedians -

STEVE PARRY, ‘belligerent Welsh comedy no gooder’ and Bradley Manning supporter, who, when I tweeted him (hi-jacking my arsenal mad son's twitter a/c because I don't have one) to see if he would support the campaign, replied affirmatively with:

Bradley is part of the great Welsh radical tradition’

together with DAN MITCHELL (new host of BBC Radio Wales news quiz 'What's the Story?')

and FRANK HONEYBONE (one of last week's contestants on aforesaid!)

all doing their Sunday good deeds in a stand up for Brad, bless.....

The evening will be sealed with music from JACK OMER (alternative country and political folk) whose astute lyrics interpret the nuances of these our times in an acoustic set and a singing voice that really does the business. And he’s even written a SONG FOR BRADLEY MANNING.

Please come and support our HERO, Brad!! and these luvverly artists who will all be giving their services free of charge - for which we are exceedingly grateful - thanks all!

The evening, for a serious cause, will nevertheless try for a bit of a party atmosphere as we look to the future and the hope we have to FREE BRADLEY MANNING! (altogether now!)

PLEASE SUPPORT!
