Event Description

Stories of the Streets: Access All Areas
In partnership with NTW TEAM and Disability Arts Cymru

Time:Arrival from 7PM for drinks with music from Acouchristo himself Chris Young. Performances begin at 8pm

Stories of the Streets in an exciting new writing event kindly supported by National Theatre Wales TEAM, giving emerging playwrights the chance to have short plays performed in unusual venues; giving audiences new theatrical experiences.

To kick start Stories of the Streets for 2016, we are proud to have partnered with Disability Arts Cymru to bring you a unique theatrical event. As always, the plays are inspired by over heard conversations in locations that are given at random but this time we’ve also challenged our commissioned writers to incorporate an access requirement such as audio description, captioning or BSL with which they must be as creative as possible, to create work which speaks to all!

The plays will then be performed by an integrated company of professional actors in promenade style around the Angel Hotel. Don’t miss it!

Please note the venue is fully accessible and each performance will be signed, captioned and audio described.

Stories of the Streets: Access All Areas
Mewn partneriaeth â NTW TEAM a Chelfyddydau Anabledd Cymru

Pryd: Dydd Iau 28 Ionawr 2016
Lle: Gwesty’r Angel, Stryd y Castell, Caerdydd, De Morgannwg CF101SZ
Amser:Cyrraedd o 7PM ar gyfer diodydd gyda cherddoriaeth gan Acouchristo ei hun Chris Young. Perfformiadau yn dechrau am 8pm.

Mae Stories of the Streets yn ddigwyddiad ysgrifennu newydd cyffrous â chefnogaeth garedig TEAM National Theatre Wales, sy’n rhoi cyfle i ddramodwyr newydd gael eu dramâu wedi’u perfformio mewn lleoliadau anarferol; a rhoi profiadau theatrig newydd i gynulleidfaoedd.

I roi cychwyn ar Stories of the Streets ar gyfer 2016, rydym yn falch o greu partneriaeth â Chelfyddydau Anabledd Cymru i ddod â digwyddiad theatrig unigryw i chi. Meddyliwch am hyn fel Stories of The Streets ar ei newydd wedd! Yn ôl yr arfer, mae’r dramâu wedi’u hysbrydoli gan sgyrsiau a glywyd mewn lleoliadau ar hap ond y tro hyn rydym hefyd wedi herio ein hawduron comisiwn i ymgorffori gofyniad mynediad fel disgrifiad sain, capsiynau neu iaith arwyddion Prydain y mae’n rhaid iddynt ei ddefnyddio yn y modd mwyaf creadigol posibl, i greu gwaith sy’n cyffwrdd â phawb!

Yna caiff y dramâu eu perfformio gan gwmni integredig o actorion proffesiynol mewn arddull promenâd o gwmpas Gwesty’r Angel. Peidiwch â cholli allan!

Nodwch fod y lleoliad yn gwbl hygyrch a bydd pob perfformiad yn cynnwys arwyddion, capsiynau a disgrifiad sain.

Am wybod rhagor? Cysylltwch â team@nationaltheatrewales.org

Mae’r cyfle hwn i aelodau TEAM. Er mwyn dod yn aelod, ymunwch â grŵp TEAM ar Gymuned Ar-lein NTW: community.nationaltheatrewales.org
