Event Description

The Body Hotel is a movement workshop designed for personal growth and/or professional development. A chance to 'check out' from daily life and 'check in' to our body. No previous movement experience required!

This workshop series ran successfully in Edinburgh for two years and now makes it debut in Wales! Testimonials of Body Hotel participants can be found here: www.thania.info/bodyhotel

For those interested in professional development, The Body Hotel will include introductory elements of dance movement therapy and explore techniques for working creatively through movement with communities and vulnerable groups.

Who has previously attended the Body Hotel?

A beautiful mix of artists, educators, therapists, youth workers, community leaders, health professionals, parents/caregivers and business professionals looking for new approaches and perspectives on themselves and their work.

Led by certified dance movement therapist and choreographer Thania Acarón, who has 13+ years of experience in movement for wellbeing and a PhD in violence prevention.

Booking Essential. No prior movement experience is necessary. Limited spaces available.
