Working Wo/Man is a sharing performance of the first project by FYI Theatre Collective.

Growing from shared experiences of the sometimes oppressive nature of work, the piece explores the fact that while all the participants in the project have worked in different industries and workplaces, the feelings evoked by the encounters we have with customers, co-workers, bosses and audiences leave us with similar feelings.

Using our collective theatre skills and experience, and inviting a new performer into our midst to work with us as an equal partner in the process, FYI has created a piece of devised theatre that engages the audience through the senses as well as using a range of participatory devices and calls on the shared recognition of situations on which the piece is based.
