Led by Fern Potter, this training will provide you with some insights about what Trusts and Foundations look for in applications and also provide some concrete skills in putting together successful applications for funding. 

This workshop can also be attended online via video conferencing, and the footage will be available for two weeks after the event for online participants to watch afterwards along with any handouts, presentations and exercises.

We will review helpful hints on how to research and approach funders and examine some projects that have been funded in the past. The training will contain a number of practical exercises to help you improve your skills. You are encouraged to use a real project for the basis for these practical exercises.

You will be asked to use an actual project as a basis for some of the practical exercises during the day.
