Should the Theatre in Wales forum keep going?

I hope people start using it again, as it would be a shame if it shut down. This site is amazing but it is run by a theatre. It's important there's a site we can go to if we don't feel we can say what we want on here. Use theatre in wales please!

I think it's really sad that the Theatre in Wales forum is thinking of shutting down. Echoing (copying, really) what Tim said, this forum is great but it's not independently run and it's vital that the community at large are able to post away from NTW if we so choose. And I'm sure NTW, who have been great at engaing with the community, have not intended to obliterate the TIW website. I'm sure they don't want to be the internet equivelent of Tescos coming and buidling an enormous superstore next to a local corner shop. They should definitely keep the forum, as quiet as it may seem at the moment.

Yes it should keep going. Just because NTW have created this community for all, there is no reason why we can't have two (or even more) forums to contribute to the theatre debate in Wales and beyond.

I think it would be a huge shame to see the forum go, I'm sure it's not the intention of NTW to replace but rather to enhance what we already have.

I hope that people don't see this community as a replacement to Theatre in Wales. TiW has been, and still is a valuable asset!

And I agree with Adele, NTW is no TESCO (let's be thankful of that!)
