Just received this email and thought I'd share it here

"A new digital media centre for Cardiff?

Please find below a link to a short (5 minute) survey in relation to
the potential development of a digital media centre at Cardiff Bay
www.surveymonkey.com/s/dmcquestionnaire . We would really appreciate
your input as this will help us to improve the infrastructure for the
creative and digital sector in Wales.

If you want to find out more and share ideas about what you think
should happen in the building and what types of offices and facilities
should be available, we are a holding a workshop on the evening of
Monday 17th May in the old NatWest Bank on Bute Street from 6.00 –
7.45 with drinks and light refreshments from 5.30 pm. Please RSVP if
you can make it to Toby Hyam (toby@creativespaceman.com).

The target group for this is producers, freelancers - principally
people who might engage with and use a digital media facility in
Cardiff. A press release from WAG is available for review and download
at

http://bit.ly/bEpgqV

please pass link on to others for background should you wish.

Finally if you want more information over the phone about the survey,
the workshop or any other issue relating to the growth of the digital
and creative industries, feel free to contact Mike Wallwork from Welsh
Assembly Government on 0300 062 2414.

An invitation to apply for an Arts Council of Wales Fellowship on the Clore Leadership Programme
“I feel extremely grateful for the opportunity my fellowship has given me to develop a supportive professional network, flex and hone my skills, and resource the time I needed to experiment and grow in terms of leadership capacity and entrepreneurial confidence. It's absolutely changed my life because it's changed the opportunities which I have been able to take or create.” 2007/08 Clore Fellow.

The Clore Leadership Programme is currently inviting applications for a Fellowship in 2010/11 from candidates from Wales who intends to develop their career as a cultural leader in Wales.

The Fellowship Programme aims to shape emerging creative leaders from across the cultural sector through in-depth learning, tailored as far as possible to the needs, aspirations and circumstances of the individual Fellow.
The structure of the programme includes:

residential courses
an extended placement
original research

individually-selected training, mentoring and coaching.
Fellows also benefit from unparalleled access to senior cultural leaders and to extensive networks.

New developments to the Fellowships in 2010 include greater focus, with most Fellows able to complete the core of the Programme in a concentrated six-month period, plus an introductory two-week residential course. Fellows can choose to take a period of six months away from work and receive a bursary while doing their programme, or continue to be attached to their place of work, with their employer being compensated for the sustained periods when they're away.

The closing date for all applications is 12 March 2010. For further details on the Programme and to access the online application form please visit:www.cloreleadership.org
Please do feel free to circulate this e-flyer to your networks.

This Fellowship is supported by the Arts Council of Wales

Hello everyone. Just a quick note to see what projects people are planning for the Summer? After graduating from the Lecoq school in Paris I'm moving back to Wales from June until October and want to get the professional ball rolling, so to speak. Drop me a message for C.V's headshots or even just a chat! Kris.
