Hello, my name is Kristoffer Huball and I am a graduate of L'Ecole International de Theatre Jacques Lecoq, Paris. I am putting out the feelers to create a new Welsh physical ensemble to develop a shared language of movement and begin creating stimulating visual theatre that is relevant and important to a contemporary audience, both in Wales and in Europe.

I'm looking to start experimenting and making a body of work with a group of six performers over the Summer and depending on progress, funding and the interest of various institutions later expanding the pool of collaborators to include a group of musicians.

Sessions will be lead by both myself and my colleague Jessie Brett, a Cardiff based graduate of The Place in London. The pedagogy at Lecoq encourages actors to graduate, form companies and create their own body of work. I believe that this attitude is the way forward for developing artists in Wales, particularly due to the recession and lack of work.

Please contact me on kristoffer_huball@hotmail.co.uk for more information.

Looking froward to hearing from you.

HI Kristoffer,

If you're looking for performers it's probably worth posting this in the actors group as well.

Hi Matt,

It's already there. Pass the message around to anyone you think might be interested please?

Cheers

Kris

Hello, I'd like to confirm that the Open Physical Theatre Workshop, as described above, will be taking place on Saturday June 9th from 2pm - 4.40pm at The Sherman Theatre's basement rehearsal room. You will need to bring loose movement clothes and a bottle of water with you. If you will be in attendance please can you confirm by sending an E-mail to kristoffer_huball@hotmail.co.uk

Hello all. Just a message to say thanks for the responses towards the physical theatre workshop that I shall be running at the Sherman in June. Due to inundation applications are now closed. I'll look to run another one in the near future though, so keep eyes peeled.
