STAGE MANAGER

Waking Exploits are seeking to appoint a freelance Stage Manager to coordinate and manage the day-to-day running of the upcoming production, throughout rehearsals and on tour.

The candidate must have exceptional practical and organisational skills and a proven understanding of the logistical aspects of touring theatre. The stage manager will work alongside the director and production manager, as part of the technical team, and will play an integral role in ensuring the successful delivery of performances.

Previous experience of this role is essential.

LIGHTING DESIGNER

Waking Exploits are also seeking to appoint a freelance Lighting Designer to create an atmospheric and absorbing design for the company’s next touring production.

The candidate must have a strong conceptual vision accompanied by a solid technical understanding when bringing the design to life. The lighting designer will work alongside the director and designer in implementing the artistic output of the production and will play an integral role in developing the innovative and creative aims of this ambitious company.

Previous experience of touring theatre is desired but not essential.
