This autumn we're trying something a little different.
We're introducing dynamic pricing across all Weston shows: The earlier you buy, the cheaper your ticket.
Ticket prices will start at £8 slowly rising to £12.
Good idea? Let us know what you think.

I know that this is the system they use at Southwark Playhouse, they call it airline seating. I personally think as an idea it's great but I can never ever take advantage of it. With the work I've always done though (theatre directing), I never know where I am going to be and when. Sometimes a job can be thrown on me last minute, so I always have to pay for the last minute - and more expensive - tickets because my lifestyle means I can't book ahead. But it must be good for the venue to be able to 'guarantee' some pre-show ticket sales, rather than have to pray for walk ins....
All very true. What we've done to try and combat this is offer a multi-buy deal. You can pay the lowest rate of £8 per show at any point in time if you book 3 shows at once.
Great idea! I know a lot of people who'd welcome such a progressive approach.
especially as many of these try to plan their entertainment 'schedule'
for an entire season as soon as they receive the venue brochures.
Added benefit is, if you buy cheaper earlier, its less of a hit to the pocket if
events conspire against you & you can't make it on the night!
Be good if all venues and companies worked out a deal for working professionals.
You can't get cheaper than me!
