These workshops will be led by Catherine Bennett and Paul Davies.

ABOUT CATHERINE BENNETT
After graduating from Rambert School, Catherine performed with many leading companies in the UK:  Random Dance Company, Carol Brown Dances, Aletta Collins, Walker Dance Park Music, and most recently with Siobhan Davies.

As a performer Catherine has worked with Volcano Theatre Company on A Few Little DropsWhat am I Doing Here?, I-Witness and 147 Questions about Love which was performed in 2014 at the Edinburgh Festival, at The Iceland Building, in June/ July 2015 and touring from October 2015. She has produced and directed two films, My Desert  and Things We Found and directed the play Attempts On Her Life by Martin Crimp and co- directed the devised National Theatre Wales (NTW)  production Shelf Life. She has choreographed the movement for Volcano Theatre Company’s production of A Clockwork Orange, Alice In Wonderland, BLACK STUFF and  Seagulls. 

Catherine has worked with NTW as a movement director and has extensive experience leading workshops, and projects devising material with children, students and experienced artists.

ABOUT PAUL DAVIES

Paul is the Artistic Director and co-founder of Volcano Theatre. His most recent work for the company includes 147 Questions About Love, Seagulls, BLACK STUFF, A Clockwork Orange, Blinda and Alice in Wonderland. He is currently working on a new International co-production of Kurt Vonnegut’s Slaughterhouse Five and developing a new show with Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru, based on the writing of Kate Roberts. His production of BLACK STUFF, chosen by The INDEPENDANT as one of the TOP TEN Performances to see at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, opens on August 14.
