Information

WiLD

Join me on a magical journey through one woman’s neurosis and life-avoidance, visiting her long-lost
childhood dreams, her fantasies, meeting monsters large and small, finally to discover her wild side...

This play is very funny as well as dark, poignant, moving and beautiful. It exposes our human flaws as well
as weaving a magical and surprising tale. Expect songs, dancing, puppets, strange monsters, and a large
warm duvet...

WiLD is back with performances at Chapter on October 4th, 5th and 6th!
Then touring venues in England.  Hooray!

Check out this little video I made to entice venues to book the show:

New Year thoughts, losses and successes in my latest blog post, check it out:

http://actsofbeauty.co.uk/wordpress/2012/01/forwards-and-backwards/

What did the New Year bring for you?  Any exciting resolutions?  Clearly we're past January 1st now, but to me the whole of January is reserved for thinking about where my life is going and making changes.  It's also about celebrating where I've been.  So hooray! for 2011 and yippee! to 2012 is basically the feeling.  As well as must do taxes...

Some very sad news, WiLD is being postponed as a core member of the team is in hospital. Read all about it here:

Thanks for supporting this journey so far, I'll be back with a new schedule for the play soon, and I'll keep updating with rehearsal progress as we continue - the show will most certainly go on!

Hi All! Thanks for joining the group! Teifi has written a blog entry introducing me to the world. You may like to have a little read and find out all about my fears and such, plus there is also a funny picture of me: http://actsofbeauty.co.uk/wordpress/

Rehearsals have started!  I'm very excited!  I wrote about it here, including how my brain is undergoing changes the more time I spend with the play

Hello, welcome to this group all about WiLD!

WiLD is a one-woman show I made and performed last February at Aberystwyth Arts Centre as a part of their Open Platform Scheme.

I'm now taking it to Chapter Arts Centre, performances will be on January 20th and 21st:
http://www.chapter.org/25125.html

This project is funded by The Arts Council of Wales.

I'm really excited about reworking this piece over the next few months, I have big ambitions for the show, and a fantastic team working with me.

I'll be posting updates here over the rehearsal period. Get in touch, I'd love to hear from you!

picture above is a little sneak preview...
