What I do:
Artistic director of Small World Theatre (SWT) based at our new theatre Canolfan Byd Bychan, Cardigan. Actor . director , maker, puppeteer, workshop leader, educationalist, writer , co writer, aid worker. artist.,,
A little more about me:
I have recently been producing experimental and innovative theatre, fabulous cabaret, artists collaborations and speed theatre. Experienced in producing theatre that transform peoples lives directly sometimes using puppets for Wales based and our international productions.Theatre I have been Performing with Ann Shrosbree my co director since 1979 shows concerning the environment and development issues with theatre for development projects in Africa, Asia the Middle East and recently 6 European countries developing creative approaches to diversity. Small World Theatre have recently produced the largest giant puppet performer in the world with our show spectacular Bran the Blessed www.smallworld.org.uk.SWT often work with the pick of the crop of the host counties actors and directors as well as grass roots performers from our arts and culture for development projects. Theatre that has literally left a forest in its wake joining 56 villages in the deserts of Sudan.
Location:
Cardigan
Projects I’m working on:
The Lightning Path is our latest touring show for families Wonderfull puppets with input from me, Ann and Toby, animation is spectacular, its always great to work with Sean Vicary and this show seems to go down really well with audiences. So climate change ,being swamped by plastic and a flying hare bringing mild super powers to the main protagonist seems to strike chord. the last show for adults "One Way Street" a puppet noir experience. A theatre production with puppets and animation in B/W adult puppetry, noir themes and stunning visuals. Set in west coast America and Wales. Another show still available is Tales of the Taiga. Shadow puppets, actors telling a Nani (Siberian) traditional story with references to the disappearing habitats and languages and culture of indigenous peoples of the frozen forest regions of planet earth. With large sturgeon and tiger puppets and shadow puppetry.
. Plus loads of shows cabarets and music and film collaborations gigs and master-classes at our Small World Theatre in Cardigan

We need the space for our community to creatively discuss this controversial subject and share different views.

Is it just a distraction that…

Until now the story of Brân was alive only in an old Welsh classic tucked safely away in the Mabinogion. Missing for over a millennium, Brân’s…

Hi Bill

Thank you so much for the offer - it's great to have a potential West Wales venue.  Will get back to you as soon as we are more definite about dates and a clearer idea of the plan.

Many thanks
