I teach IT, CS, English and Drama in a secondary school, having relocated from London in order to bring up our children in Wales. I worked in a West-End theatre for many years, where I began writing in earnest. I had to set my writing aside for a number of years in order to attend to personal issues, but the way is clear again now, and I am more determined than ever to see my work produced. Several actors have either read, or tried to have one or two of my plays produced on BBC Radio, including. Paul Scofield, Derek Jacobi, Bernard Hill, Sam West, Prunella Scales, Eileen Atkins and Jeffrey Wickham. But I've discovered that my interests and talents lie in stage drama, and that is what I am now pursuing.
Projects I’m working on:
A play for four actors based in rural Wales as it faces up to the changes of modern life and industrialization, encompassing male/ female relationships in the workplace, and the contrast of different cultures with a conservative traditional Welsh white culture.
