The Sound Project - Performance Workshop!

Open call for Performers! Now that the stories have been gathered and scripts adapted,TEAM are offering a free performance workshop which will take place at The Tanyard Youth Project, Pembroke for the final stage of the Sound Project!  The workshop will be led by Catherine Paskell, Stage Director and Artistic Director of Dirty Protest. My TEAM journey

My TEAM journey began in January 2016 when I joined the TEAM panel. How would I describe TEAM? Well it's safe to say it is different for everyone. A fantastic opportunity to bring people together. The Sound Project script writing workshop part two!

Last Saturday saw the second part of The Sound Project's script writing workshop. After leaving the first part of the workshop with a story from the community, seven writers returned to the Monkton Swifts Social Club to develop their scripts with the wonderful Patrick Jones to help them. The day began with biscuits! And not the ones you dunk in your tea, but an exercise that got us to think of the type of biscuit we would be and why. What I do:
South West Wales TEAM Associate, designer, maker, doodler
A little more about me:
My work has mainly involved designing and making puppets of all scales and sizes. I have worked closely with a puppet making company who have made for Cirque du Soleil and Theatre du Chatelet in Paris. Some of my work has consisted of making oversized dragon costumes commissioned by English Heritage for St. George’s day, whilst other work has involved making small rod puppets that are performed inside an 18th Century dress.
Love a bit of story telling, character inventing and illustrating quirky creatures.
