Profile Information

What I do:
Working across Wales to put established and emerging writers on the same platform, challenge them to create exciting, new work. Then take it to the theatres, bars and clubs, invite as many people as you can find and, finally, party. If a new band can head to a dirty dive and start a riot, then so can a theatre night. Dirty Protest are Matthew Bulgo, Branwen Davies, Claire Hill, Catherine Paskell, Tim Price.
A little more about me:
Launched in 2007, Dirty Protest works across Wales and beyond to promote, produce and develop new writing for performance.

The Guardian called Dirty Protest “cracking” and The Big Issue “spellbinding”. We won Best Production (Critic's Choice) from the Welsh Theatre Critics' Awards for our production of Parallel Lines and have created work with partners including the Royal Court, the Almeida, National Theatre Wales, the Traverse in Edinburgh, Paines Plough, Galeri, Aberystwyth Arts Centre, the Torch Theatre, Chapter, Soho Theatre, Camden Roundhouse, Latitude and many more.
