Writer, Freelancer, Events Organiser, Community Engagement Associate for 'Sisters'
A little more about me:
I'm a writer specialising in prose, creative non-fiction, reviews and comment pieces. Thematically, my interests lie in mental health, intersectional feminism, national/personal identity, race, gender, belonging and how they're presented in literature. I studied English Literature and Creative Writing as an undergraduate and went on to do a MA in Creative Writing at Cardiff Metropolitan University.
Projects I’m working on:
'Sisters' - Community Associate with National Theatre Wales.
Word Factory 2017 Apprentice - mentored by Alexei Sayle, working on short stories I hope will form an eventual collection.
Associate Editor: Wales Arts Review
Co-organiser of 'Where I'm Coming From', a BAME focused open mic night occurring regularly at Tramshed Cardiff.
