I grew up and live in Cardiff. I write anything ranging from poetry, fiction, to non-fiction, essays, reviews and so on. Interested in topics of mental health, intersectional feminism, national/personal identity, race, belonging and how they're presented in literature. I studied BA English Lit and Creative Writing and MA Creative Writing, so naturally, that's where my interests lie. Always open to new ideas, opportunities or bringing more voices to Wales Arts Review, whom I joined as an editor in November 2016.
Projects I’m working on:
Essay in Dead Ink book of essays on working class writers due to be published this year.
Currently undertaking a residency with Wales Arts Review on mental health, who I'm also an Associate Editor for.
Word Factory 2017 Apprentice - mentored by Alexei Sayle, working on short stories I hope will form an eventual collection about Welsh Muslims of Pakistani heritage.
