I'm a poet and non-fiction writer. I've done two radio plays for the BBC but am just now writing my first plays for the stage. I think of poems as speech acts by dramatic characters and want to know how to develop this into sustained theatrical drama. My website is at www.gwynethlewis.com

Hi John,
Thanks for the welcome. I'm looking forward to meeting you this afternoon. I'll have a look at the Writers' Group now. I'd be happy to share some thoughts from the US, as I've been going to the theatre a lot. As you can see from the length of time between your message and my response, I'm not always good with e-mail!
See you later,
Best,
Gwyneth
Lovely to see you on here Gwyneth. Could I interest you in starting a blog?? I know that a lot of people would be keen to hear your thoughts as you turn into a playwright, and a bit of news from the States is never a bad thing! Doesn't have to be anything regular, just a couple of thoughts now and then. Also, in the Writers Group area, we've just started a discussion on what the Writing Policy should be for NTW, so let us know if you have any thoughts on that! Welcome aboard! J
