Profile Information

What I do:
I'm a theatre maker, performer, clown, show off
A little more about me:
I trained as an actor at East 15 and since then have been exploring collaborative devising, clown and physical theatre.

I drink too much coffee and eat too much ice-cream
Location:
Cardiff
Projects I’m working on:
I co-founded a Cardiff based theatre company called Likely Story. likelystory.org.uk

Currently we're working on Seatown Ladies. www.Seatown.com. We are investigating the experience of being a woman and the dynamic of all female groups. Starting with the shared space of a rowing boat we want to explore the women who crew it, their lives and relationships. It will probably include themes of loss, it will probably be quite daft, there will be songs and music and movement and buckets of heart.

I'm working on a solo outdoor show for festivals as well as a solo indoor show called Paper Bag girl. Paper Bag girl is an exploration of courage and bravery. Where it comes from, and how it shows up for people. Its also an exploration of imagination and play and simple story telling.

THE LAND - Sometimes unkind, often daft and almost always muddy

As part of Wales Lab four artists adventure into the wilds of North Wales for five days. We were exploring fear and courage in a risk adverse society and the importance of taking risks as a young person. This is an extract from our adventures.

Ah, just realised you've been on the site for ever - but added an 'Introduce yourself' blog post a few weeks ago.  Well - it's still lovely to have you here!!

Hey Hazel. Apologies if we never welcomed you to the site earlier - we got a bit busy with the redesign. It's great to have you and Likely Story on board here. I really enjoyed the selection of your work I saw at the Rural Touring conference.  J
