I'd like to take this opportunity to advertise Glamorgan University's Final Year Productions that cover the majority of next week at Glamorgan's Atrium, Adam Street, CF24 2FN.
I'd like to create particular interest in an adaptation of Harold Pinter's 'The Birthday Party' (23rd March, 3pm in Room CB4) that combines naturalism and physical theatre and in which I play the lead Stanley Webber, and my own devised 'Performance Postponed/Reporte La Performance' (23rd March, 7pm in…

good to hear from you. Hope you're recovering from Park Life.
I'm in London for four days of meetings which is a bit surreal after being on Planet NoFit State.
Glamorgan Improv Troupe started in ATRium in 2007. We ran a lot of what I do now with Ludus Ludius Improv Theatre. Thus nowadays I got other productions and whatnot that I do with the G.I.T. The idea behind G.I.T is to get improvised student-ness onstage for all to see and be amused by. The troupe is an improv comedy troupe that performs a format called 'Stealth'. The format is generally supposed to be solely for G.I.T. With the troupe being in 3 different universities we have the opportunity to have inter-uni competitions with the format. It is in RWCMD, UWIC and obviously in ATRium. It is an outside input in the university, so we cannot say we are apart of it in anyway: However, it is for students of the stated universities. We always want other places to hold a troupes too, so we expand with time.
‘Stealth’ is a short-form improv format that competes two teams of improvisers (5-7 players) against one and another in scene work and storytelling. In some ways it is about one team working well with the other team to make something happen and still compete for the prize. That’s the trick of the format and perhaps the entertainment of it too. (As some formats have in-built roots of entertainment.) We shall be developing the format with the troupes as well, as we are to take influence from Italy’s ‘Match Impro™’.
We were to have Theatresports® too, but the guy that was going to do this is probably not going to be available. Tis a shame as there is a group starting for that in RWCMD now… but nevermind.
Lastly then, the workshops that I’d be running would be weekly on a Thursday no doubt, as other nights are already busy for me. So joining is easy with my email addresses – G.I.T: glamorganimprovisationtroupe@gmail.com or Ludus Ludius: nathan@ludusludius.co.uk
Okally.
just email: glamorganimprovisationtroupe@gmail or nathan@ludusludius.co.uk to join and become a G.I.T.
