- What I do:
- We train young people across Wales in film and television to give them a foot into the industry.
- A little more about me:
- Each year we produce 6 short films for broadcast on BBC Wales in the autumn. The films are created during the summer, in a scheme which allows as many as a thousand young people who need the experience, the opportunity to work alongside industry professionals on a real film set. We also make a 30 minutes 'making of' documentary which is broadcast alongside the 6 films under the "Made in Wales" banner. The year culminates in a red carpet premiere where professionals and new entrants from across the industry come together to celebrate what's been produced throughout the year. It’s My Shout also operates training programmes throughout the year, from community projects to feature films - all with the focus on nurturing new talent in Wales.
