Profile Information

What I do:
I am a Theatre director from London who is fanatical about Wales. I believe in the power of theatre to change people's lives and I direct this change.
A little more about me:
I am a former actor member of the Royal Shakespeare Company and since changing to become a director I have specialised in new writing, particularly American new writing. I adapt Russian plays for the Acting Gymnasium/Charm Offensive and I look for plays that are about characters on the fringes of society and stories that make the ordinary extraordinary. I am interested in showing classic stories with a Welsh twist which I hope to explore more in 2015.
Location:
London
Projects I’m working on:
Laundry & Bourbon by James McLure. The 30th One Act Festival at the Lost theatre. 31st May @ 7.30pm
African Americana by Aurin Squire as part of the ObamAmerica festival at the Theatre 503. 10th -14th June @ 7.45pm
My own adaptation of The Cherry Orchard as part of the Camden Fringe festival in August.
Kafka vs Kafka at the Etcetera Theatre Camden in November.
