What I do:
Qualified Teacher in Art/Photography & Inclusive Drama Facilitator. I also dabble in theatre.
A little more about me:
My vision is to provide creative workshops for young hard of hearing and deaf people in Wales. I will specialise in creating, designing and running workshops such as acting, dancing, singing and in the creative arts. These workshops are specifically designed for the hard of hearing and deaf.
I hope to empower and include the Welsh deaf community in a way that has never been done before in the Arts. I feel Wales are lacking behind our counterparts in the UK when it comes to inclusion and accessibility for the deaf community in the Arts.I hope to change that.

I am deaf. I am passionate about everything in the Arts from theatre, music, dance, film and visual art. I am even more passionate when performances are captioned or accessible.

I have a dream. That dream is to see a welsh actor on our TV screens or on the stage. I also dream a lot about jaffa cakes.

Three words I like - Inclusion, Educate and Inspire.

I will be taking this further for R&D and hoping bring in a movement director and a Visual Vernacular Artist. Have been selected for All Tomorrow Festival at Battersea Arts Centre,London. I am part of Sherman Cymru's Creative Learning team my role is the reach to young people about inclusion and access in the Arts. I also run their weekly Sherman INC. sessions. Valleys, Mountains, Frothy Coffee and The Good Earth.

Two weeks ago I met up with Welsh theatre company, Motherlode to watch their final rehearsals for ‘The Good Earth’ at The Park and Dare Theatre before they set off on their travels to New York City. I have been asked to be part of their ‘on the ground’ promotional team for their return to Wales where Motherlode will be performing at theatre venues throughout the country. Having heard and read so much about them, I was glad to be given this opportunity.

I had never been to Treorchy…
