The Access Forum is, in it's physical form, a quarterly meeting for arts organisations, individuals, audience members, freelancers, creators, makers and everyone in between to get together and talk about access. On this group, we'll be sharing what we discuss at those meetings, the ideas we have, and any thoughts you might have on access. We're aiming to make everything we do more accessible to more people, and to share everything we do to help each other.See More
I am a professional performer from LLandudno and I am visually impaired. I have worked with such companies as Graeae Theatre Company, Original Theatre Company, Extrodinary Bodies and also NTW! I trained to be an aerialist for the opening ceremony of the Paralympics 2012 and there I fell in love with aerial, silks and hoops. I continue my training my full time and now I regularly perform as an aerialist. Including performing a solo piece at the opening ceremony for The Cerebral Palsy World Games.
Projects I’m working on:
I have just finished the UK tour of Wait Until Dark and I am hoping to develop my show Blind Drunk in 2018
*job alert* If you’ve got experience of working with young people & are motivated by the idea of helping them create & deliver their own projects, then maybe you could be our Lead Facilitator? The job title isn’t exciting. The job is. Find out more https://buff.ly/2tJJpbL
Thanks @OilyCart for opening your rehearsal room doors to me this morning and reminding me of the magic of performance, it’s ability to transform the human spirit and connect through a shared, generous and joyful experience - you rock #NHS70@NTWtweets
