Sustainability

From Monday 10 - Friday 14 August, here at National Theatre Wales we launched #NTWGreenWeek. Our commitment to Wales extends beyond its venues, communities and talent, to its future. Every decision we make, be it in programming, production, communications, or administration, is put through a rigorous sustainability test. We'll continue sharing what we're up to, interesting stories and thoughts as we take what we learnt during the week forward. You can share your thoughts and ideas here too,…See More

Profile Information

What I do:
Creative Writer & Facilitator, Performer, Musician
A little more about me:
I'm a creative writer, poet and performer. I believe that creativity should be for all, and is an empowering tool for well-being. I create projects that encourage individuals and communities to explore and engage with the creative, writing way of life. I'm inspired by people and place, by my love of nature and landscape, theatre and literature. I trained at E15 and worked as an actor-musician. I have a M.A. in Creative Writing from Swansea University.
Location:
Pembrokeshire
Projects I’m working on:
'Building Stories' - commissioned by spacetocreate and Pembrokeshire County Council, a collection of poetry created using poetic transcription to raise awareness and celebrate Haverfordwest's Townscape Heritage Initiative.

'Tied to the Booth' (working title) poetry inspired by and celebrating women's stories with politics, in context of both the domestic and wider-reaching influence / agendas.
