Profile Information

What I do:
• I would describe myself as an educated actress, classically trained singer, accomplished musician and aspiring model.

• I have received acting training from both the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and Cardiff School of Creative and Cultural Industries, where I achieved a BA (Hons) Drama (Acting for Theatre and Media). I found my course vital to my development as a versatile performer for both stage and screen. As part of my course I practised many different genres of performance, took part in newly created site-specific musicals and worked closely with established theatre directors. I have become a far more versatile performer as a result, with a specific interest in symbolism, the voice and the breaking of the conventional “fourth wall” in theatre. I have a passion for acting, directing and music.

• As well as having my degree, I am an accomplished musician, playing the clarinet and saxophone to a very high level. I have also achieved a respectable Grade 8 in ABRSM classical singing, and I am currently training to become an operatic soprano (studying for a music performance diploma). However, I am highly skilled in many different genres of music performance and I have an extensive repertoire.

•I have undertaken many master classes with renowned companies such as: Cardiff Singer of the World Competition (Dennis O'Neill, Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, Marilyn Horne and Håkan Hagegård), Welsh National Operas John Fisher, Welsh National Youth Opera, National Youth Choir of Wales, National Youth Theatre of Wales, the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama Conservatoire, and more recently with the newly established National Theatre Wales and talented director of Taking Flight Theatre Elise Davidson.

• I have worked professionally in the following productions: FINAL GIRL - Mad Science Films Ltd, Merlin - BBC, Doctor Who - BBC, Ironclad - Runnymede Productions and Being Human - BBC3 and taken part in experimental performances.

• I feel that I would be an asset to any production due to my talent, passion and professional attitude.

• I have been involved with NTW as one of their first Team Members since their inception, participating in various projects and spreading awareness. It has been wonderful watching this dynamic Welsh organisation develop! :)

Audience Quotes - NTW03

After being involved with the promotion of The Devil Inside Him I managed to obtain some quotes from audience members giving their insight into the performance. Two people have replied - the first opinion is from an industry expert (who prefers to remain anonymous) and the second from a theatre graduate - Ian Geraghty:…

NTW03 - The Sunday Afternoon Project Evaluation!!

Hello all,

Here are pictures of Laura and I promoting The Devil Inside Him as part of Team Cardiff through the medium of Curtain Raisers in the centre yesterday afternoon.

Curtain raisers for NTW03

Hello everybody,
With regards to the curtain raiser ideas I have assessed the impact of street theatre, and after watching the tech run have come up with an idea for a mostly improvised mini performance which promotes and advertises the play and it's themes/emotions. Laura has come up with another idea and we have decided to combine the two...
We have been given…
