Bristol - Making the motorway disappear

IDST! are recruiting live artists, performers and writers for a co-ordinated show that will run along the edges of the M32 motorway, turning the spaces around it into its own world. We need performers from all backgrounds and of all experiences. the first meetings/auditions are on 24th OR 25th September, starting at 6pm at St. Werburgh's Community Centre, Bristol

The performances will be on the 24th October. We are inviting people to come with their own thoughts about the space: how they use it, navigate it and how they reflect it. We also have some amazing roles to create a line of action for the punters taking part. For more information email me m@idst.org or bosch@idst.org. http://aidiesti.wordpress.com/catnap-k%C3%A6tn%C3%A6p/

The show will be free and so unfortunately we cannot pay fees to the performers or writers, although we will cover any fees incurred. The october version is our first attempt and essentially a dry-run "scratch" - we hope to secure funding for next year which will go directly to performers, and will move to new motorway spaces. We cannot tell you anymore as it'll spoil its secrets....what we can tell you is a war of words is about to breakout...
