What I do:
Research
A little more about me:
I graduated from the University of Bath- Sport and Social Sciences and now completing an MA in Cardiff Metropolitan University- Sport, Body and Society. Although this suggests I come from a sporting background. My main interests are in art and how art can be used as a research method to locate and interpret the sporting body. I love art and its one of my favourite hobbies. I abide by the motto, a picture paints a thousand words. Thus, I want to incorporate this within my research
Location:
Cardiff
Projects I’m working on:
My last dissertation involved the indentification of the body within differing environments. I produced this through visual methods and displaying these interpretations within an art gallery. The project I am working on now will entail a similar outlook to my previous dissertation but will focus more on the phenomenological experiences art can produce.

Welcome to the National Theatre Wales Community, Rochelle. It's really interesting to hear from someone about the way sport and art overlap: we're so often told that they're separate, even competitors (especially with regards to government funding) and perhaps generally we should be more proactive in overlapping the two. We've got a blog facility on this community, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd be interested in regular updates on your current project. Good luck with it! Meg
