It was great to go and see 'A Good Night Out' last night in Pontardawe. Having been involved in the rehearsal process, I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the end product in all its warm & tender glory, - it brought a tear to my eye and gave me belly laughs…

Profile Information

A little about me:
I am a 2nd yr technical theatre student @ SMU. Over the last year I have been involved with a number of productions in and out of uni,and broadened my skills and experience considerably. Stage Management has been my primary area of interest and experience but I am becoming very interested in design, and had some dabblings with education. I look forward to seeing the NTW years' program evolve.

Another tidy night in Ponty

It was great to go and see 'A Good Night Out' last night in Pontardawe. Having been involved in the rehearsal process, I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the end product in all its warm & tender glory, - it brought a tear to my eye and gave me belly laughs by turn. I was very impressed by the extra dimensions brought by the superb audio visuals, Mike Beers sound design, the great band (see you in the Uplands boys), and by Boyds beige budgie smugglers... Nice to see some of my own bits and bobs o

The plotting session went really well. Bits and pieces need looking at but that's what tech is all about! It's the first time I've worked with Na Nog, I met Simon Gough through college and he hired me for the fit up, hopefully it won't be a one off! I'll not be around on Friday but feel free to let me know what you're up to, could be mutually beneficial after all! Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi Sarah! This may seem odd but did I meet you at the Theatr Na Nog plotting session in Swansea today?

Hi Sarah, welcome to National Theatre Wales! Your journey into/out of/back into theatre was interesting to read and great to hear your enthusiasm for NTW. Keep us informed with what you're up to with your course, it would be great to get more technical students involved with us!x
