Four plays written and performed - "The Butcher Bird", "The Throckmorton Cypher", "Drink Canada Dry" and "The Winter Gift" - "Gift" has been performed twice in Cardiff (at WMC and Chapter) to sell-out audiences and recently performed with great success at the Edinburgh festival (2016).
Prize-winning short fiction writer and would-be novelist.

Short Film

Anyone interested in helping to make a short (approx 30 min) film drama? It's set in a hospital ward during a night shift and is very macabre (and accurate - I've been a Nurse for 35 years).

I know nothing about making films and have no experience in it. People with relevant experience, contacts and knowledge especially welcome. And actors, of course. It has a cast of four (one male and three female, though the gender roles aren't important and could be any variation on that…

Edinburgh Festival - stage play THE WINTER GIFT; actor wanted.

Rogue'z Theatre are performing my play THE WINTER GIFT - about the silent screen star Louise Brooks and the making of the screen classic PANDORA'S BOX - at the Edinburgh Festival this August (20-28th inclusive). We are still short of one actor, to play a German male, age 40-50.

Documentary

Anyone interested in making a short (30min approx, maybe more, maybe less) doc about the actor Marcel Dalio? He played the croupier in "Casablanca", and was a very interesting chap.

I don't know the first thing about film-making, so if anyone's interested in kicking the ball about drop me a line.

Casting Call

3-4 male actors (acting range 30-50)  required for production of new play, to be premiered at Chapter Studio theatre, Cardiff, from end Jan 2014 for an initial 1-week run then possibly a tour afterwards depending on how it all goes. Ability to do American and /or German accents desirable but not essential.
