To Jinx Or Not To Jinx at Swansea Grand Theatre

March 26, 2016 from 12:30pm to 1:30pm
Emily thinks she has found a soulmate in Thomas. Thomas feels the same, but his housemate Arthur is far more cynical about this woman’s charismatic manner and wonders if Emily is really committed to Thomas or whether she should just be committed. Oh, and there’s a serial killer on the loose...A superb new comedy from the excellent Katie Bowman, whose previous plays have included Wicked Intentions and Interference.See More

This is a group for Tin Shed Theatre Co.Based in Newport, South Wales, we are Justin Cliffe, Georgina Harris and Antonio Rimola, three performance artists who want to introduce themselves to strangers, be bold and brave, amaze with a tale and transport audiences to a place that, although remains detached from the literal, can still enlighten our perceptions of the real world all the same. The work we do is as varied as the things that inspire it. We like to explore empty buildings, transform…See More

NTW17 - A Provincial Life

One of Wales' greatest writers and directors, Peter Gill, returns to his native city with a portrait of provincial life in 1890s Russia. Based on Chekhov's poignant short story, A Provincial Life follows one young man's struggle to exchange his privileged position for the life of a worker.  This painful, lyrical play dramatises the search for equality in a way that resonates deeply today.See More

What next?

In 2011 I was not able to gain a place at a drama school. Even after many a strenuous audition and making it through to last group for Bristol Old Vic I was not able to gain a place! I am currently trying to get an agent and going round thetres asking for experience so I can get as much experience as I can before trying again for Drama schools next year. Wondering if anyone had any advice on the matter? Also if anyone Knows any good modern comedic monologues for my age? I am 18.See More
