Born and bred in Cardiff I was a Sherman Youth member from 1999 to 2004, I was a member of NYTW in 2003, graduated Drama Centre London in 2007.
A little more about me:
After graduating from Drama School became a member of the Mercury Theatre Company in Colchester, where I most recently played Gerry in 'Dancing at Lughnasa' by Brian Friel. I am particularly interested in Shakespeare, Physical Theatre, and Circus. I performed in 'De Gabay' the opening show of the third year of work by National Theatre Wales.
Projects I’m working on:
In 2014 I devised and performed 'Rime' with my circus company Square Peg, funded by the arts council and supported by the Roundhouse, and National Theatre. It is an exploration of the Rime of the Ancient Mariner by Samuel Taylor Coleridge, told through circus, dance, poetry, and sea shanties. Now we hear from Prof Ian Hargreaves @CreativeCardiff - should more public bodies follow @NTWtweets approach, eschewing permanent iconic buildings and siting their work in the context of the communities they seek to work for?
