A little more about me:

Born in Newport parents from India/Pakistan my father came to UK in the 1950's my mother arrived 9 years later. I grew up in Newport until the age of 17 did a YTS for a year then we were taken to Merthyr a small village called Troeydrhiw we ran our parents large old co-op store I didnt have a clue about shop work only knew how to make the shelves look pretty and be nice to customers which is important i know. Hated working there then life was very strict and being the oldest of 3 other sisters only by a year i add ment that i had to be extra (good) then had a forced my parents attempts failed when i was 15 came back from school to see a mustard green salwar kamis on my bed told to put it on as i was getting engaged to a stranger. I was angry and cried my makeup down my face this attempt after a year of serving him cups of angry tea and sitting silently boiling up inside failed woop woop i say they found out he was already married in Pakistan and had children so i got away with that one! Anyhow left Troedyrhiw at the age of 20 went to Yorkshire for 6 months out the frying pan into z fire. Back then to Swansea 12 years of retail hell on High Street and having babies 2 lovely ladies now.I finally got brave and felt that i would not disappoint my parents as they had both passed away by the time i was 30 I left only moved next door with my girls and this is when my creative journey began
