Voice Over Talent Required for Corporate Promo Film

InterHigh Education is in the process of making a short promotional film for their website and YouTube, looking back over the schools ten years of development.

To help celebrate the decade of the online school, we require a voice over artist to articulate the journey.

The voice will need to represent a male of between 20 and 30 years old with a bright and neutral accent.

Some training or experience is desirable but not necessary so long as the voice and professionalism is… Continue

Personal Creative Development

I am looking to create a small group (max 4/5) of Actors/Musician/Dancers - preferably a mix of the three to meet (hopefully on a somewhat regular basis) for general exploration.

I see this as an opportunity as:

  • A way to keep toes in creative waters, and stayed tuned in when not in paid work.
  • A great opportunity to bring any specific ideas the individuals have to explore and test out.
  • A fun way to network.
  • An opportunity to learn from each…

Auditions in Swansea For Dan O'Brien's The Body Of An American

I am one of the directors of Tent Of Xerxes, a Production Company working out of Swansea _ we will be holding auditions at the beginning of March for our production of Dan O'Brien's "The Body Of An American" - This is a biographical docu-drama, the play, only has a cast of two, nevertheless, it demands much of its actors, in that twenty characters are brought to life during the meeting of the author, and the Pulitzer Prize winning photographer Paul Watson. Dramatically, the play revolves…

one night stands?

Theatres should look beyond one-night stands - a diet of short runs is bad for audiences and bad for artists http://gu.com/p/45yf6/stw

Agree?

Untitled 2a - A Callout

Untitled 2a is a film created last year for a film installation. It unveils my own autobiographical struggle of coming to terms with my sexuality where the education system has failed me.

“Too often, our children don’t get the education they need - the education they deserve [...] Children…

Hen Ysgubor / Adref Newydd

“We were very torn” she said

“My grandmother wanted it to be an art studio”.

I wanted to say something

Like

“Mae’r pentre ‘ma yn mynd i farw. Peida, plis.”

But she has a baby

I don’t want to be violent.

Choked

WINONA - A New play by Christopher T. Harris.

Siblings Kate and Daf have retreated to their family cottage somewhere in the Welsh valley. When a stranger puts a gun to his head near the tree outside, their somewhat quiet retreat turns into something quite different.

Winona is the new play by acclaimed writer Christopher T. Harris, a play about love, social existence and the need to love.

This production is directed by acclaimed…

Crouch Touch Pause Engage

So I'm not sure if this qualifies as a "blog" but I just wanted to share some thoughts on the new play that's about to hit Wales and subsequently the UK made by NTW in association with Out of Joint. I have been lucky enough to have had the chance to sit in on rehearsals this week and meet the lovely cast and creative team woking on it at the Sherman Theatre (it's first venue). On a personal level to be able to observe someone as experienced, astute and incredibly "on it" as Max…

I'm really pleased to be able to say that we will be livecasting the three main talks from this week's Huddle at Aberystwyth Arts Centre.

So if you cant make it to the beautiful sunny delight that is Aberystwyth, you'll still be able to hear (and ask questions) about ‘Selling your work to programmers, audience and the press’, ‘What a producer does and how they help Artists’ and hear Gill Ogden, Head of Performing Arts at the Aberystwyth Arts Centre talk about…
