National Theatre Wales’ Assembly is developing into democratically-elected projects to be delivered across the length and breadth of Wales.

Rehearsals are underway in west Wales for Assembly 02 on the 4th of May 2012 and now Assembly 03, mid Wales, requires your online votes to decide how we proceed. We also need fresh proposals from you for Assembly 04 taking place in North Wales, so get thinking and bring us to your town to get that conversation…

Swimming in Iran

I'm creating a play (with Farnham Maltings) that is set in Iran. It takes place round a table where the actors and the audience - in role as the friends of the family who are throwing this impromptu party - all eat Iranian food. They will all prepare the food together too. I'm in Rhuthun, North Wales, keen to meet with Iranian people who live up here. Can you help me connect to them? Diolch yn fawr. Kevin.

The past few weeks

have been incredibly crazy! I've been so wrapped up with Waking Exploits I have no idea what I'm going to do with my time when it's all over.

They've been adapting 'Pornography' by Simon Stephens, with their director Mathilde Lopez who is a bit like a walking genius.  Its been a thoroughly enjoyable experience shadowing the designer, Alyson Cummins and I will be gutted when it's all over!

Opening night is tonight, cannot wait to find out how well it's gone.

'Little Dogs' Frantic Assembly and National Theatre Wales return to Swansea.

Hi.

It was once said that Swansea is the graveyard of ambition but after a sneaky peak around 'Little Dogs' rehearsals it becomes very clear that just isn't true. 'Little Dogs' brings Frantic back to the city where it all began in a rehearsal room approx 45 seconds walk away from where they put on their first show. I popped in to have a nose…
