Share your ideas..

"We are compelled to share our ideas; that is how they come to life. And when we share ideas they multiply and grow, forming a powerfully reinforcing circle. You are not defined

simply by what you own. You are also what you share."

I think it's time for me to start to…

For Mountain, Sand and Sea | Review

Sooo... how good was For Mountain Sand And Sea? Even though we very nearly didn't make it to Barmouth thanks to our crazy bus driver, it was worth the 9 hour excursion. I done wrote some words on it here:

I was supposed to write this review on the drive back, but instead we performed a tribute to the show by drinking a few bottles of rum (nautical) and a crate of Stella (Tennessee Williams... okay,… Continue

And So It Begins

It was good to meet up with everyone in Manchester yesterday to talk about NTW10. Really looking forward to see what we will create for the Butetown show. Mad to think that at the beginning of the year I had never seen any kind of theatre and now I'll be involved in this production. I think we are going to produce that everyone involved, including the Butetown Community, can be proud of. Here are a few links that people may find interesting.

This is a short documentary…

ARKade Empty Shop: Day 2

The first day of the ARKADE Empty Shop Project not only brought new life to the Castle Arcade but also to a lot of old shoes as well!

What with workshops a plenty both crafty and socially design based we couldn't have anticipated the amount of support and enthusiasm shown to the project.

Although day one saw us addressing some of the more serious issues of the recession and how it has…

Day 124 - On the Road with Pearson and Yang - The Hugh Owen Library, Aberystwyth

A middle aged man with steel rimmed glasses stands facing away from me in the far corner, clattering the photocopier lid repeatedly, his repetitive action encouraging the hulking grey machine to cast an ominous green light across his blue Marks and Spencer's shirt at regular intervals. The young girl behind me is playing her music through headphones at the special volume normally reserved for members of Spinal Tap and ignorant train passengers. I am half expecting a…

What's Going On

Overheard from a Barmouth local, as the For Mountain, Sand & Sea audience walked past him yesterday:

"What's going on? I feel left out!"

Spend just on hour in Barmouth between now and 10th July, and you'll see exactly what he meant - Marc and the team have made a huge impression on the town, as it has on them.

We had a glorious day for it, and the performance was a triumph. Lovely in particular to meet so many local residents, who added to the atmosphere (and the… Continue
