Jemma Llewellyn and Ellen Groves did an amazingly upbeat performance with audience-participation-to-the-max (Yes, John McGrath slow danced) the night before this video installation was showed in a quiet room.
How the Spice Girls changed my life was inspired by some of Jemma's memories. We collaborated to recreate these lonely, personal moments…

The Boy That Broke the Pegs follows dramatic episodes in the lives of three autistic young people, whose lives have diverged widely as they have reached adulthood. Their different stories show different facets of the autistic experience but all of them are centred on the difficult interface between people with autism and wider society and on different manifestations of acceptance and exclusion, of friendship and loneliness, of making connection and…

During our time in Broneirion House we explored the nooks and cannies of our new home. We created pieces that responded to our environment and were influenced by the history of the house and the people that lived in it.
We then created one huge collaborative piece in which people chose different rooms or spaces in or out of the house and created pieces…

Today has been one of those days when you love what you do.
The weather was fantastic and the cycle path from Blackpill to Mumbles Head was packed. The cyclists who came with us on the journey were great and on top of that the passers-by who stopped to listen to the history of the Mumbles Railway were all encapsulated by the story of the railtrack.
The world loves stories and this is a great one, and what's better is that it was great to add to it.
Many thanks to…

We spent yesterday working on one of our..stranger..projects...
Life Cycle of the Bay is a play on bicycles. We start at the Junction Cafe in Blackpill and cycle down to the Pier in Mumbles. Stopping on the way, we bump into characters from Swansea history, who might have used the Mumbles Railway..
It's strange but it's great fun and the team have been working really hard to put it together.
We've got three performances on the 19th July at 11.30, 1.30 and 3.30. Come…

We are fans of ‘site-specific’ theatre and admirers of much of NTW’s work. But there has to be a reason to make people stand for hours and wander round an enormous warehouse. In the case of the mysteriously bracketed {150}, I don’t really know what it was.
The evening started outside the warehouse (luckily it was a dry evening) with a long piece in Welsh over loud-speakers that wasn’t translated. We walked in past a booming over-amplified preacher whose Welsh words were apparently…
