Petition to save venues

Here is a link to a petition that encourages a change of approach to planning laws which are currently threatening performance venues with closure.  At the moment if new housing is built near a venue that produces noise the venue is responsible for managing that noise as the developers have no responsibility to put sound proofing in - the consequence of this has been that venues could be forced to close as they 1:  Cannot afford to arrange sound proofing for the new builds 2: They have had…
