Birth of a new Port Talbot News Service

 

With far less fanfare than it deserves, Local News Port Talbot has made a fantastic start at spreading the word about events in the town.

It's a not-for-profit cooperative, manned by a dedicated team of volunteers - professional journalists, photographers and the like - who are passionate about delivering local news in what is an incredibly bustling town.

What's Going On

Overheard from a Barmouth local, as the For Mountain, Sand & Sea audience walked past him yesterday:



"What's going on? I feel left out!"



Spend just on hour in Barmouth between now and 10th July, and you'll see exactly what he meant - Marc and the team have made a huge impression on the town, as it has on them.
