10 reasons you should be applying to come on Summercamp

This is always a really exciting time of year for me, as watch applications from artists interested in coming to Summercamp, I can start to imagine the make-up of the group, the potential collaborations and the sort of work that might be created. We've got just under 48hrs until the deadline arrives for this year Summercamp. I hope you want to be a part of it. But if you;re still unsure whether to put your name in the hat, here's my last ditch attempt at explaining to you why you should...Here goes:

10 reasons why you should be applying to Summercamp.

  1. You'll grow your (international) networks - you'll meet interesting people who will question, challenge, entertain and engage you.
  2. You'll spend two weeks in a beautiful part of Wales.
  3. There will be great conversation and critical discourse about the work being made.
  4. You'll have time to reflect on your work, the way and reasons you make it.
  5. You'll have time and space to work on the things you really want to make.
  6. You'll be inspired to try new things, work with new people and make things happen - it could be the start of your next big project.
  7. Great food and drink - there will be plenty of food prepared lovingly just for you, and I can promise a local pub near-by.
  8. You will surprise yourself. You may even scare yourself.
  9. We'll look after you.
  10. It will be fun (and totally bewildering at the same time).

So it that sounds like an adventure, what are you waiting for? For more information, and to make your application go here:http://nationaltheatrewales.org/summercamp
