24h workshop with PeerGrouP in August!

We are offering a Wales based Theatre-maker the opportunity to participate in a 24h workshop this summer with PeerGrouP, an inspired Theatre company based in Holland.
The 24h workshop will take place from 21st to 22nd August in Drenthe, Holland and will particularly focus on listening and responding instinctively to a particular site, its people and activities.
You will, along with other Theatre-makers from all over the world share and experience PeerGrouP's intensive and immersive approach to Theatre and Performance making.

We are looking for a Theatre artist (Director, Actor, Writer, Choreographer, Designer, Creative Technician) who would benefit from PeerGrouP's site-specific and socially engaged method. We would particularly welcome Theatre-makers or artists interested in a hands-on approach to Theatre.

PeerGrouP is based in the North of the Netherlands, in a rural area. Their work is socially and geographically rooted. They have developed a method which takes as a starting point a particular site's history and terrain but also the people who ‘own’ the environment, their specific stories, conflicts, celebrations and ceremonies. Their "Integrate and Infiltrate" approach has generated different formats of Theatre works , all carved with and within the community the company temporarily embraced.

If you are interested and available on 21st-22nd August 2009, please send me 100 words about you, 50 words about your current project, and an example of your work (eg: a video, images, sounds links or file) before 16th July 2009.
