I was up in North wales for three months this summer creating, writing and directing an immersive promenade theatre production for Theatr Genedlaethol.

It was called 'Blodyn' and it was a modern day version of Blodeuwedd's story. I worked very closely with two communities- the village of Talysarn and the town of Balenau Ffestiniog. The purpose of the project was to get their voices heard on a creative stage, to be able to show what living and surviving in these communities was like today. And so I knocked on doors, visited a variety of clubs, groups and associations, talked at schools, walked the streets and invited the whole community to come and take part in our free workshops.

We had over 400 members of the community taking part with over 50 local residents performing alongside professional actors, dancers and musicians. We even composed an anthem for the show and made a music video.

So for all of you that couldn't make it, I wanted to share these videos with you.

Hope you enjoy.
