A new network, 'Producers Place', has just launched its self with the aim to foster dialogue, share ideas, offer practical support and profiling the role of the producer in Wales. The network is for any arts professional who identifies as being a producer (regardless of what their job title actually is!).

A few members have begun planning the next three sessions and will be inviting guests to talk about their experiences of producing in relation to a theme. The first of these sessions has been scheduled for 11th March and will feature some interesting speakers who will present on their idea of 'audience' (and where the producer fits in). There will also be time for conversations and discussion afterwards.

Members of the network will be hanging out on the Producer group of the NTW Community. If you want to know more, you can find us there, or feel free to come along to the event on the 11th March. More details will appear on the Producers group shortly...

I'll also be making an announcement about an new opportunity for producers at NTW in the next few weeks. Again, keep checking the community for more details.

Dear Simon,

This seems like a very interesting project - how does one 'join'? Do we just come along?
