Emerging Producers:

Last year we piloted a new scheme for people interested in developing their skills in producing, in growing their professional networks and helping artists to create brand new work. We are now looking for the next group of people to become Emerging Producers with NTW.

The successful candidates will work alongside me to produce the work of WalesLab artists and to ensure the work of those artists is seen by local audiences, together helping to create tomorrow’s theatre.

We will be offering an all-inclusive fee of up to £2000 per successful applicant. Successful candidates will need to commit to full-time hours during a period of intense development (usually between one and two weeks) and be available for some prep work in the lead up - we expect this will amount to approximately two weeks in total, per project. Each successful applicant will be offered no more than two projects to produce.

Schedules for each project will be decided on by negotiation between all parties.

Applicants should have some experience of producing already behind.

Person specification – Essential:

• A proven and demonstrable passion and interest in the creation of new work
• Experience of producing at least two projects previously (either for other artists/companies or self produced work),
• Ability to support the ideas of others as well as to take a lead.
• A commitment to the development of the role of the producer in Wales.

Desirable:

• Welsh language skills.
• A full clean driving license.

Bydd angen i ymgeiswyr llwyddiannus ymrwymo i oriau llawn-amser yn ystod cyfnod o ddatblygu dwys (rhwng wythnos a phythefnos fel arfer) a bod ar gael ar gyfer peth gwaith paratoi yn y cyfnod yn arwain at hynny – rydym yn disgwyl y bydd hyn yn gyfanswm o bythefnos ar gyfer pob prosiect. Cynigir heb fod yn fwy na dau brosiect i bob ymgeisydd llwyddiannus eu cynhyrchu.
