Here is the draft guidance issued by the HSE concerning the application of CDM regulations to Theatre Activities.

There has been lots of discussion about this and the industry's response to the consultation has been ignored and the new CDM regulations take no account of our industry - this is partly because the HSE did not think that the regs would be applied to us.  

That is however the past and the HSE are now seeking advice from the industry to enable them to draw up appropriate and applicable (and legally enforcable) guidance

There will be a meeting with the HSE on 13th March and the industry is trying to canvas as broad a response as possible to ensure that as many voices as possible are listened to.
