National Theatre Wales want to work with you this Sept/Oct. We’re in Treorchy for the whole of October with our show “Tonypandemonium” handmade at the Park and Dare Theatre. 

We have loads of opportunities to get involved with National Theatre Wales and to play your part. We need someone who can shout loud enough so that everyone knows whats up and has a chance to get involved, but we need your local knowledge and experience.

Job Spec: Promoter 

National Theatre Wales

National Theatre Wales are seeking an individual to support our marketing and engagement campaigns for Tonypandemonium.

 

The Promoter will  work closely with NTWs Communications Director, Head of Collaboration, creative teams and venue staff to develop innovative ways to promote our show and to ensure a unique audience experience in line with NTWs vision, values and ambitions.

This is a freelance, part-time (2 days a week) position and the contract will run from 2 September 2013 to 26 October  2013. The fee for this work will be  £1000 plus reasonable travel expenses.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To engage with local communities, groups and individuals
  • To promote NTW productions to a local audience
  • To develop and maintain an online presence
  • To collect audience data
  • To capture audience feedback

Skills required:

  • A link to or knowledge of the relevant areas or communities
  • Communication skills
  • Organisational skills
  • Social media skills
  • An understanding of how to engage with diverse communities and audiences
  • An understanding of NTW and its work
