Hey Everyone,
I would like to just introduce myself, I am Jordan and I am over the moon to say I will be the promoter for Crouch, Touch, Pause, Engage (Bridgend). Over the coming weeks I will be engaging with the local community, schools, along sports and LGBT groups to promote what is going to be a sell out show!
The show opens at Bridgend College, Sony Theatre / Sony Theatr Coleg Pen-Y-Bont on 26.03.2015, tickets available through the Sherman Theatre.
On the eve of one of the most important games of his career, Welsh rugby Legend Gareth Thomas received a warning: The Sun newspaper was going to 'out' him as gay. This is the story of two welsh names bruised, but not beaten, by media speculation; Gareth 'Alfie' Thomas, 100 caps for Wales, once its captain, now the world's most prominent gay sportsman; and his hometown, Bridgend. Working with Alfie himself, and young people in Bridgend, two of the UK's most exciting theatre companies - National Theatre Wales and Out of Joint - have teamed up to tell a great Welsh story about sports, politics, secrets, life and learning to be yourself.
For more information feel free to contact me at jfentertainment@live.co.uk or visit nationaltheatrewales.org, I am also based at Bridgend College through out the week.
