And we are off!! The olympics are here - Rio 2016
I don't know why but each time the olympics are on I never feel uninspired quite the far opposite in actual fact.
When you watch fellow countrymen break world records and win olympic medals, there isn't much more to say. It's inspirational in itself and should be taken as motivation.

Being that we are in Rio for the next two weeks I thought I'd use a quote from possibly the greatest athlete to come out of Brazil.

No one wakes up successful - FACT!
It does take all of the above and more. I imagine each and every one of the athletes competing at the games have dreams wether it's just competing at an Olympic Games, representing their country, winning a medal, leaving a legacy etc and yes many of you guys reading this won't have dreams of Olympic glory (although some may and good! Keep those dreams alive) but just like the Olympians .. hard work, determination, perseverance and more will help and support you on your journeys to being successful - whatever that success may be.

But in amongst all that don't lose your love and passion because ultimately you'll lose the fun in what you're doing and that's never good. Be patient and always remember hard work pays off. It doesn't matter if it's over a few weeks, months, or years eventually you'll all achieve your dreams, be successful and it will all be worth it
